2. Always tend to any spill or stain as soon as you possibly can so that it does not set into the carpet fibers. Most stains can be removed from your carpet if you act quickly. While there is no stain-proof carpet, the longer you wait, the worse the carpet damage could potentially be.  Pro tip: when your carpet gets a spill, don’t rub the spot!
